EMPOWER - Be all you can be for God.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who EMPOWERS them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 11 All these are EMPOWERED by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

For many years Miok and I thought our ministry was mainly church planting. Then we realized that church planting was a by product of what we really do. We EMPOWER people through helping them discover their gifts and calling, help them develop them, and them launch them into their destiny. This is done through coaching, personal discipleship, and mentoring for ministry. The end result - leaders of churches and ministries being developed, church planting, and the multiplication of disciples.

You too can be EMPOWERED to fulfill your destiny in the Kingdom of God.

We Are Back

We haven't written here since 2009. Been going and doing a lot but we are back!

As of today we will be updating our blog on a frequent basis.

Right now we are in Mobile, Alabama leading a group of believers in spiritual warfare against the spirits involved in Mardi Gras and praying that truth will be revealed to those that profess to be Christians but still get involved in these pagan holidays. Mardi Gras is really big here in Mobile. It is so big that the schools let out the last week.

Church Becoming Indigenous

Upon return from the US this June we found the cell church in Valencia doing great. The church has almost tripled in size. The leaders of the church are doing great and we have turned the leadership over to them in place of taking back the lead.
Previously we had released the church to the south of the city that has been indigenous now for about 1 1/2 years. They are doing well also with numerical growth as well as spiritual.
The church in northern Valencia has asked for us to give them spiritual covering since we will be releasing them.
Miok and I will be moving out of Venezuela the last week of July to start a new Hispanic work in Mobile Alabama. There are reportedly 20,000 Hispanics in the Mobile area and only two or three Hispanic churches. We will be helping a small English speaking church as well that has interest in reaching the Hispanic community.

God´s People Taking The City

Recently pastors and spiritual leaders in our city started uniting and praying for our city. Not only have we prayed but we have put our faith in action as the pastors and their churches united and did prayer walks together (vea el photo), went up to the top of seven mountains around our city at the same time in the same day and prayed for the city pulling down strong holds. We have been doing prayer vigils where we know there has been strong holds of the enemy. We now are planning the March for Jesus the 12th of October. Our church is praying every morning at 5:00 AM. What have been the results so far? Every church in the city is reporting growth, new people recieving the Lord every week. We believe Venezuela is on the brink of a powerful move of God! We have also recieved reports that the same things are happeneing in other cities in Venezuela. Please join with us in prayer as we take the city for JESUS.
